Slimline Scene Card for a Landscaper's Birthday

Last month I happily volunteered to make a Birthday card for a gentleman at my church. Then it was mentioned that he is a landscaper and, could I make it to match?

Hmmm. Well, I do love a good craft challenge. So I looked through my supplies and decided to do a slimline scene card.

And I had a fabulous time!

I used an adorable house stamp from Simon Says Stamp. It’s from a tiny little set called Loving You from Afar. I colored 3 of them with my alcohol markers and spaced them throughout the card. I added some trees and bushes that I cut with my Cricut and set them all on a hillside that I cut by hand.

The finishing touch is that fabulous airplane and banner, also from Simon Says Stamp. That set is called Home Sweet Home

I layered it all on a stitched cloud design paper and it was ready. I’m so happy with how it turned out!

To finish the inside of the card I made sure to add some cute accent paper for signatures. I knew they were going to need a lot of room, lol. I put it in that beautiful yellow envelope and it was ready to go.

This was a super fun project. I’m not sure you would be able to tell the recipient was in Landscaping, but you and I know 😉

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
