Personalized gifts are the best kind of gifts, but life is crazy and sometimes convenience is the best we can do! A card kit gives us both of those! You can handcraft a beautiful card that you’ll be so excited to give. And when you need it, it’ll be ready for you to use.  The kits give you guidance and inspiration. Also- Tons of fun!

A card kit is a kit of all elements required to construct a particular card. It will include all of the goodies I use to make the card, so that you can make one too! And, a coordinating envelope is included, so you have everything you need.

Adhesive does not come in your kit. But I will always include any foam adhesive for elements that will be popped up for dimension. A little dimension can make a card so Fun!

You will need one, or a combination, of these: 

• Double sided tape (like double sided scotch tape, the yellow one) or Score tape or something comparable to that 
• A tape runner- a hand held tape dispenser that’s used in paper crafting. The straight tape or dots versions are both good 
• A liquid craft glue like Tombow Mono-multi glue, Ranger Multi-medium matte glue or any craft tacky glue that you prefer 

Sometimes a card element will work best with a specific adhesive, I’ll let you know when that’s the case.

The card kits vary in difficulty. So the Kit Levels are there to help you know what to expect. 

• Level 1- A Level 1 Kit Will usually take 5 to 10 minutes to construct. You won’t need any special crafting experience to make your card. And, all of the elements come together in a really straightforward way. 
• Level 2- A Level 2 Kit will usually take 10 to 15 minutes to construct. You won’t need any special crafting experience but more care will need to be taken to make sure elements are put in the right place and in the right order. These cards are just a little fiddly. 😉 
• Level 3- A Level 3 Kit Will take 15 to 20 minutes to construct. There will be more pieces to work with and the card elements will be a little harder to work with. These are great cards, they just take a little more time to put together. You’ll love them!

Snail Mail is a monthly subscription for 2 card kits. Each month I design 2 Snail Mail kits exclusively for my subscribers. Then I host a LIVE Zoom card party where subscribers can make their cards with me as I give directions. As a bonus, I also do a Door Prize drawing during the Zoom party for those who attend. 

Being a Snail Mail subscriber is one of the BEST parts of Sandi’s Cards! After you subscribe, you’ll receive your first delivery around the 15th of the month. This package will include that month’s kits and also the Introductory card kit that is included in your subscription.

For your convenience, your subscription will be paid for by an automatic withdrawal on the 10th of each month. Please make sure your preferred payment method is saved under My Account/Payment Methods. 

If you prefer to manually pay for your subscription each month, you will need to turn off the Automatic Renewal button. To do this, go to My Account/ My Subscriptions and choose the subscription you wish to edit.  Then, each month you will receive an invoice email with a PAY to pay for your shipment how you choose.

If you want to PAUSE your Snail Mail Subscription, visit My Account/My Subscriptions. Click View for the subscription you want to edit. Click Pause, then enter the date you wish to resume your subscription.

To CANCEL your Snail Mail subscription, visit My Account/My Subscriptions. Click View for the subscription you wish to edit. Click Cancel and then confirm the decision by clicking OK.

No. Rules. 🙂 If you like the way I’ve designed the card, I encourage you to copy it. But if you’d like to change things up with the kit elements- Please do it!! You can use the card kit to design your own handmade card, if that’s what your Creative self wants to do! Go Crazy, kid.

There might be slight variations in some of the kit pieces because these kits are all handcrafted, by me. This includes any ink blending or coloring. But it’s my goal to make everything alike and everything beautiful!

Definitely! You are going to need to confirm the required postage. Sometimes the shipping process can be rough on our cards. It can help to add a mailing liner (small cardstock panel) over the card front to protect it. Just add it to your envelope before mailing. I will include this in your kit if I think it’s needed. But, you can always add one to any handmade card that you mail.

Shipping is free over $30 and a $3.50 flat rate for all orders under $30!

I will put your package in the mail as soon as I can. I know when I order stuff, I want it as soon as possible! So, it will be shipped no later than 3 days after your order is placed. Don’t worry, I know you’re excited. I’m excited too! Making cards is Awesome

After a card kit purchase, the instructions come to you in a digital download. It will also be listed in your ‘Downloads’ file on your My Account page.
